Job Description: Chef de Partie (South Asian Kitchen)
**Position**: Chef de Partie
**Location**: [Specify Location]
**Salary**: ₹20,000 - ₹30,000 per month
**Shifts**: Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays
**Responsibilities**:
- **Food Preparation**:
- Prepare and cook a variety of South Asian dishes, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation.
- Follow recipes and portion controls to maintain consistency.
- **Station Management**:
- Manage a designated kitchen station (e.g., curry, tandoor).
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.
- **Quality Control**:
- Monitor food quality and safety standards.
- Conduct regular checks on ingredients and supplies.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Assist in ordering and managing inventory levels to minimize waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for menu development.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, preferably in a South Asian kitchen.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of South Asian cooking techniques and ingredients.
**Skills**:
- Excellent knife skills and cooking methods proficiency.
- Strong creativity and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
