**The Role**:
**RE OE Ops DESS Team is responsible for the Run & Maintain of the Security Applications within Shell and thereby ensuring safe, secure, and reliable operations for all the Shell employees and contractors.**:
**DESS (Deployment of Enterprise Security Solutions) provides integrated and standardized technical security expertise and solutions in a cost effective and efficient way and offers an increasing number of enterprise security products (including access control, video surveillance, visitor management, digital evidence management) to over 200 sites globally.**:

**The RE business readiness advisor role is responsible for proactively supporting activities through high-quality change management across the entire programme, supporting wider business in relation to DESS.**:
**The role will suit a proactive individual with experience of change management, who appreciates the critical nature of effective change management and the impact of change (in all forms) on individuals and businesses.**:
**The RE Business Readiness Advisor will have functional line within the DESS programme with Change and Engage team.**:
**The role would require that individual puts people and business understanding and readiness at the heart of their activities, and demonstrates timely delivery and excellent attention to detail, producing high-quality, visually appealing content across all DESS communication channels, written with the audience in mind to facilitate understanding and adoption of the change.**:
**The RE Business readiness Advisor is involved in all aspects of DESS change management and is an integral member of the DESS C&E team; responsible for proactively delivering, supporting, and orchestrating a wide variety of C&E duties.**:
**The RE Business readiness advisor will form a part of the RE operations Change, Engage and Communications Team working in close collaboration to produce high quality materials and communications aligned to the RE Ops growth strategy.**:

- ** Creates and develops high-quality communication and engagement materials.**:

- ** Manages and drives traffic across all DESS communication channels.**:

- ** Responsible for the upkeep of change management materials, tools, and templates.**:

- ** Provides DESS community support and guidance.**:

- ** Manages DESS Team Tools.**:

- ** Carries out the C&E elements of the DESS training strategy.**:

- ** Ensures Shell brand and DESS brand compliance across all DESS content.**:
**DESS C&E strategy**:
**Assist with delivering the overall DESS C&E strategy and initiatives**:

- ** Actions the DESS C&E communication and engagement framework (team, stakeholders, customers, communities, businesses).**:

- ** Rolls-out communication and change management plans to ensure the successful adoption of DESS products, services, initiatives as set out in the DESS Plan on a Page (POAP), Security Technology Roadmap and interim initiatives).**:

- ** Assists with the development and roll-out of DESS One-team initiatives (DESS Team Tools, DESS Special Recognition Awards, team-building initiatives).**:

- ** Assists with C&E surveys and measurement mechanisms for addressing continuous improvement opportunities.**:

- ** Responsible for the upkeep of change management materials, tools, and templates, such as content creation trackers, DESS Ambassador slide deck, DESS Portal, DESS Team Tools, DESS brand templates.**:

- ** Ensures C&E materials, tools and templates are stored correctly in DESS SharePoint areas.**:
**Writes high-quality communication and engagement materials**:

- ** Supports the DESS programme in all aspects of communication and engagement activities (customer, stakeholder, DESS team, supplier/partner/vendor, communities, and wider Shell businesses).**:

- ** Writes high-quality and visually appealing communication and engagement materials using DESS and Shell branded compliant tools and templates.**:

- ** Ensures communication tone is pitched to the targeted audience and simplifies overly complex or technical wording into easy to digest messaging (as per Shell’s writing style/Shell personality guidelines).**:
**Communication channel management**:

- ** Ensures DESS communication channels are utilised effectively (MS Teams, Yammer, DESS Portal, DESS Team Tools, DESS Training Portal) by creating and managing a plan to promote usage and drive/increase traffic.**:

- ** Identifies and addresses low traffic or usage.**:
**DESS community support and guidance**:

- ** Involved in DESS communities and provides support and guidance in their change management endeavors (DESS Working Group, Security Champions, DESS Ambassadors, DESS Super Users, Synergis Community).**:
