**The Impact You’ll Make**

At Lam, as a Buyer, you play a pivotal role in our procurement process. You analyze purchase requirements and coordinate purchasing activities across departments to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of inventory. You'll support processing purchase requisitions, change orders, and quotes (RFQs) from suppliers. Engaging in cost analysis and volume planning within our enterprise-wide systems (ERPs), you negotiate for the best value and explore new supply sources for cost-saving. Your expertise ensures Lam's procurement remains efficient and competitive on a global scale.

**What You’ll Do**
- Reviews and analyzes purchase requisitions
- Analyze Sourcing Matrix, Engineering drawings, specifications, and submit RFQ's
- proactively managing shortages to meet Customer delivery schedules, working with suppliers and SBM to prioritize deliveries,
- Acting as liaison between supplier and engineer with regards to troubleshooting part drawings redlines, etc.
- Responsible for buyer dashboard data input and integrity
- Interacts closely with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues
- Main contact for customer and planning expedite requests. Establishes confirmed delivery commitments for parts required for status meetings when representing NPI purchasing.
- Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization
- Helps to drive process improvement and efficiency within Purchasing
- Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain to hold suppliers accountable to commitments and lead times

**Who We’re Looking For**

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- **Years of Experience**: 6 - 8 years
- **Job Experience**: Minimum 6 years of experience working in a multinational high technology corporation, in _procurement, End to End supply chain & operations_ are preferred.
- **Educational**: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/ Industrial or Electrical) is preferred
- **Working Hrs**: 3pm - 12am

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Skilled in analyzing complex drawings, BOM & technical specifications.
- Working knowledge of SAP MM module.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel/Office /Power BI required.
- Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Analytical with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities
- Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets
- Consistently demonstrate concern for precision and thoroughness, while maintaining sense of urgency.
