Job Summary: The Billing and MIS Coordinator will be responsible for managing billing operations, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, and maintaining reports to support decision - making in the transportation department. This role involves data analysis, process optimization, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to streamline billing and MIS functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify invoices for transportation services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Maintain and update billing records, ensuring timely invoicing and payment reconciliation.
- Generate and analyze MIS reports related to transportation costs, operational efficiency, and revenue tracking.
- Coordinate with finance and accounts teams for invoice submission, payment follow-ups, and resolving discrepancies.
- Work closely with operations teams to validate trip data, freight charges, and supporting documents.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) in transportation billing and costs.
- Ensure compliance with taxation, GST, and other regulatory requirements in billing processes.
- Support automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance billing and reporting efficiency.
- Provide ad-hoc reports and insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Logistics, or a related field.
- +1 years of experience in billing, MIS, or financial reporting within the logistics/transportation sector.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and ERP software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of GST, taxation, and transportation billing practices is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in 3PL logistics operations.
- Familiarity with automation tools for MIS reporting.
