
Nurse Assistant

The Assistant Nurse (ANM) at Ayursiha Hospital will provide essential nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses. This role involves delivering compassionate patient care, supporting clinical procedures, and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Patient Care**: Assist in daily nursing activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobilizing patients.
- **Monitoring**: Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration) and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- **Medication Administration**: Support the nursing team in administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
- **Infection Control**: Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain cleanliness in patient care areas.
- **Patient Support**: Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health and wellness.
- **Assistance in Procedures**: Aid registered nurses during medical examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to provide holistic patient care.
- **Training and Development**: Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Completion of Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) program or equivalent nursing qualification.
- Valid nursing license as per local regulations.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and handle challenging situations with compassion.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
- Capability to perform physical tasks and stand for extended periods.
