The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) supports nursing staff in delivering care and ensuring patient well-being. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in nursing education or related healthcare training. The HCA works under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and doctors, assisting with patient care, monitoring, and other healthcare tasks to maintain a high standard of care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Support patient mobility, including helping with transfers, walking, and repositioning.
- Take and record patients' vital signs (e.g., temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, and respiration).
- Assist nursing staff in delivering care, such as wound dressing, medication administration, and other routine medical procedures under supervision.
- Help patients with feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met, and monitor fluid intake.
- Provide emotional support to patients, fostering a compassionate and comfortable environment.
- Prepare patients for medical examinations and procedures, assisting nurses and doctors as needed.
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments, ensuring adherence to hygiene and infection control standards.
- Report any changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff promptly.
- Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and care documentation.
- Provide post-operative or post-treatment care, helping patients recover and monitoring their progress.

**Educational Requirements**:

- **High school diploma or equivalent** required.
- **Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA)** or equivalent healthcare certification is highly preferred.
- **Completed coursework or training in Nursing** (e.g., Diploma in Nursing, associate degree, or other healthcare-related studies) is highly desirable.
- **Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification** or First Aid training is an advantage.

**Experience Requirements**:

- **Prior experience** working in a healthcare setting, such as hospitals, nursing homes, or home care services, is required.
- Knowledge of patient care, including hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic medical tasks.
- Experience in handling medical equipment, monitoring vital signs, and assisting in clinical procedures is a plus.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare staff.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varying patient needs.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform lifting, repositioning, and other physical tasks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
