Isilon VMAX Administration â?¢ Install configure as well as maintain storage hardware backup inclusive of physical plus virtual tape libraries or drives along with disk storage targets. â?¢ Ensure to install as well as configure CommVault backup software on UNIX or Linux as well as Windows systems. â?¢ Perform activities related to install configure and managing SAN devices and fiber switches. â?¢ Administer Brocade director FC switches as well as blade chassis FC devices. â?¢ Execute FC zoning for development and production storage volumes. â?¢ Manage NetApp snapshot as well as recovery methods for storage volumes. â?¢ Execute across-site replication of significant DR data. â?¢ Supervise volume replication overnight jobs and execute improvements. â?¢ Oversee IO performance of production along with development of databases LUNs. â?¢ Provide architecture as well as performance recommendations to DBAs and Operations. â?¢ Conduct bottleneck evaluation to identify performance issues. â?¢ Ensure backup methods are in place as well as tested for FC LUNs. â?¢ Develop and maintain records for entire storage as well as FC systems. â?¢ Administer entire server systems. â?¢ Collaborate with DBA as well as Ops to assure apt storage usage. Administration and planning contribution to Disaster Recovery with CommVault for Windows and UNIX platforms. Handle issues related to CommVault Catalog databases Storage Units Policies De-Duplication vStorage APIs etc. â?¢ Implement CommVault Deduplication. IP Network WAN and LAN free (SAN) based data backup design and configuration (familiarity). â?¢ Data protection and backup recovery solutions familiarity such as using virtual tape disk to disk to tape data replication. â?¢ Unix and/or Windows systems administration experience. Configuring Maintaining NDMP backups for various NAS technologies. Configuring Maintaining and Troubleshooting Database â?¢ Backups - Oracle SQL SAP Exchange. Perform all chargeback estimation provisioning and documentation tasks in a timely manner. Planning for Media rotation Management and Offsite Movement Scheduling of New Backups/ Modifying existing Jobs. â?¢ Performing Restores Backup Monitoring and Reporting Tool Installation. Troubleshooting Backup Failures. Scripting / Automation of Minor Tasks.
