**DESCRIPTION**
Key Responsibilities
- **Customer Interaction** : Assesses customer needs, gathers pertinent information, and opens work orders. Provides quotes, develops claims, prepares repair plans, schedules work, and provides status updates to customers on repair work in the shop.
- **Diagnostic Planning** : Develops diagnostic plans, quotes, and repair plans by determining the length of repair based on parts and labor availability. Reviews diagnostic plans, quotes, and repair plans with the Service Supervisor prior to customer contact. Works with the Service Supervisor to schedule shop job assignments.
- **Administrative Support** : Conducts research, prepares statistical reports, and addresses routine information requests. Gathers, compiles, and verifies information and enters it accurately into documents such as reports, presentations, or forms, and office systems such as databases or spreadsheets.
- **Data Management** : Assists with data collection, data entry, and report generation on various departmental activities. Prepares documentation for payment of vendors, suppliers, and other third parties as applicable. Submits documentation and enters requests for payments into the accounting system. Responds to inquiries from accounts payable and payees.
- **Customer Communication** : Supports Cummins Sales and Services North America business in executing end-to-end technical service events, including scheduling service visits, coordinating with the service team, processing work orders, invoicing, and customer communication.
- **Routine Administrative Activities** : Assists with associate functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. Responds to, or redirects, routine inquiries from external or internal sources about the organization/department, its activities, or processes so callers/visitors are answered promptly and accurately. Documents and maintains departmental policies and procedures. Participates as a team member on departmental business improvement assignments and projects as needed.

**Qualifications**
- **Education** : High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- **Licensing** : This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

- **Customer Service** : Experience in assessing customer needs, providing quotes, developing claims, and preparing repair plans.
- **Technical Skills** : Ability to work in the 3rd shift (Night Shift). Comfortable working with various IT systems.
- **Communication** : Strong written and communication skills.
- **Problem Solving** : Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- **Administrative Skills** : Experience in administrative support, data collection, data entry, and report generation.
- **Data Analytics** : Ability to discover, interpret, and communicate qualitative and quantitative data. Constructs a tale of the business problem, root cause, solution options, and opportunities through illustrating data visually, including reports and dashboards.
