Roles and Responsibilities The profile is chiefly responsible for managing timely and accurate processing of insurance applications received post sourcing and successful closure at the front-end. The concerned individual will be responsible to ensure all operational processing activities perataining to new business and policy servicing of insurance policies are undertaken in a seamless manner, ensure SLAs and TAT management as per the prescribed standards and maintain quality parameters. The candidate will also be responsible for effective vendor management and overall governance. Processing and aherance to TAT, SLA management for all New Business and Policy servicing transactions for HDFC Re's insurance business First level spoc for handling channel expectations and escalations Demonstrate adequate controls and measures for the transactions executed by the operations unit Tracking and reporting of all deviations noted with superiors and department heads Responsible for productivity tracking and management of team and function in order to operate in a cost effective manner Manage defects by co-ordinating with the relevant stakeholders and ensuring timely redressal Identify bottlenecks in the processing lifecycle and encourage implementation of ideas towards mitigation of material risks Ensure process documentation and repository maintenanace of all applicable functions are in order and updated Responsible for all functional reporting and MIS management for relevant stakeholders Responsible for performance management of key metrics and operational parameters for the team and the operations unit Undertake effective vendor management and ensure adherance to the defined scope of work Desired Candidate Profile 1. Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Excel & MS Powerpoint 2. Good Communication Skills are an essential to liaison with various departments 3. Good knowledge of life insurance concepts with operational and and servicing background. 4. Experience in client facing roles and exposure to life insurance systems and applications. 5.
