With a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, and long-term value creation, the organization is looking to strengthen its capital project execution capability at a site level.Job DescriptionReporting to the Director - Asset Management (APAC), you will:Lead planning, engineering, and execution of major capital investment projects at the Mahad siteManage multidisciplinary project teams, EPCM partners, contractors, and global stakeholdersEnsure on-time, on-budget, and safe delivery of projects aligned with internal standards and regulatory complianceOversee permit applications, detailed engineering, procurement, site construction, and mechanical completionSupport the Commissioning and Start-Up (CSU) team post mechanical completion and drive project closeoutEngage with external authorities, internal technical groups, site operations, and global teams for stakeholder alignmentImplement PEP frameworks to manage project risks, resources, and reportingDrive a culture of continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned and optimizing future project executionThe Successful ApplicantHolds a in Chemical Engineering; Master's preferredHas 15-20 years of experience in the chemical industry, with a strong track record in managing brownfield CAPEX projectsDemonstrates expertise in project planning, engineering design, process safety, and construction managementBrings experience in managing EPCM partners and global engineering teamsIs certified in PMP or equivalent project management frameworksPossesses strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skillsExperience with emergency management and regulatory liaison is an added advantage
