Location: Trichy / Karur / Perambalur / Ariyalur / Kumbakonam / Thanjavur
Experience: 2 to 3 Years (Automobile Industry Experience Must)
Salary: ₹15,000 per month + Incentive

Position Overview

The Service Advisor – General acts as the key link between customers and the service department. The role is responsible for understanding customer needs, explaining required services, coordinating repair/maintenance activities, and ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction while meeting organizational service quality targets.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers, understand their vehicle issues/requirements, and document service needs accurately.

Provide professional advice to customers on necessary repairs, services, and preventive maintenance.

Prepare job cards and ensure all service details are recorded in the system.

Coordinate with technicians and workshop staff to ensure timely completion of service activities.

Communicate service timelines, cost estimates, and status updates to customers regularly.

Conduct final quality checks on serviced vehicles before delivery to ensure standards are met.

Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalate issues if required.

Ensure billing accuracy and explain service invoices clearly to customers.

Promote additional services, offers, and maintenance packages to achieve incentive targets.

Maintain customer records and build long-term relationships to enhance retention.

Essential Qualifications

Diploma / Graduate in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any relevant discipline.

2–3 years of proven experience as a Service Advisor in the automobile industry (Automobile experience is mandatory).

Knowledge of automotive systems, service processes, and customer handling practices.

Skills Required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers.

Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving ability.

Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple service requests.

Sound technical knowledge of automobiles to explain service requirements.

Proficiency in MS Office and service management software.

Ability to work under pressure and meet service deadlines.
