We’re looking for a meticulous individual who can perform a variety of Compliance and secretarial activities in accordance with the established standards of the compliance profession to protect the organisation’s reputation and business interests and help ensure it complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
What you will Do?
- Managing secretarial activities such as preparing agenda, drafting minutes, filing e-forms, and actively comply with all the applicable laws of Companies Act for Trustee Company.
- Ensuring that all the directions of the Trustee Board are implemented in a time bound and effective manner.
- Conducting analysis of the letter(s) received from SEBI and steps taken by the AMC in that regard.
- Engaging with the Internal and Statutory Auditors for various matters.
- Liaising with the departments of AMC viz., Compliance, Risk, Operations, IT, Investment.
- Assisting the Trustee Board in discharging all the obligations bestowed upon them under the SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996.
- Collecting, consolidating, and analyzing data/information and preparing reports/ presentations to present to the Trustee Board.
- Preparing/reviewing and analysing data/reports/ certificates/ information which is required to be provided by AMC to the Trustee Board and report any exceptions.
- Reviewing, analyzing the circulars/ guidelines/ notification issued by SEBI/ AMFI/ Statutory Authority and its implementation by the AMC and update the status of the same to the Trustee Board.
- Assisting in implementation of SEBI circulars w.r.t. Trustee’s obligations in true letter and spirit
What makes you a Great Fit?
- Qualified CS with 5-7 years’ total experience, atleast 3-4 years’ experience in the Mutual Fund Industry with a background in compliance, and secretarial function.
- Should have in depth understanding of the regulatory changes of Mutual Fund Industry
- Great attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases and MS Office.
