- Ability to read and understand MEP plans and plumbing architectural plans.
- Provides spec writing services including crossing competitive spec and matching them to Zurn products.
- Understanding and able to interpret Plumbing drawings and layouts along with fixture schedule.
- Create digital specifications and collaborate with customers on projects using Zurn’s proprietary digital specification solution.
- Responsibilities also include providing equipment functionality and capability reports to the sales force, and acting as technical liaison to the sales team
- Collaborate closing with the spec sales team to create and delivery specifications for key accounts and large commercial building projects
- Coordinate additional support activities and post-sales technical support with engineering departments.
- Produce Presentations and product comparisons for sales assistance.
- Determine product technical strength/weaknesses vs. competition.
- Specialty knowledge of finished plumbing, fixture carriers, PEX, water safety & control and/or commercial drainage products. Experience and Skill Required
- BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Civil Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Knowledge of inside-sales process and quoting/bidding is mandatory.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, (Power Point, Excel, Word, Access)
- Teamwork, presentation, project management, and verbal/written communication skills required
- Ability to work independently and execute task in timely manner.
