About the Role
We are seeking a Recruitment Officer with a strong background in recruitment, communication, and social media, preferably with experience in the security or manpower services industry. This role is ideally suited for an ex-serviceman with a passion for talent acquisition and the skills to effectively manage recruitment channels and social media platforms. The candidate should bring a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles within the company.
Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Utilize social media platforms to promote job openings and attract potential candidates effectively.
Candidate Screening & Interviewing
Screen and shortlist applicants based on role requirements and organizational fit.
Conduct preliminary interviews and coordinate with hiring managers for further evaluation.
Ensure timely and accurate candidate assessments and feedback.
Social Media & Communication Management
Manage recruitment campaigns and job postings across social media channels (Linked In, Facebook, etc.).
Develop content that reflects the company’s culture and attracts prospective employees.
Respond to inquiries and engage with candidates on social media platforms to build a positive brand presence.
Database Management & Reporting
Maintain and update the candidate database with information on potential and existing candidates.
Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and cost-per-hire, providing regular reports to management.
Ensure all recruitment data and processes comply with company policies and regulations.
Coordination with Internal Teams
Collaborate closely with department heads to identify staffing needs and understand role requirements.
Coordinate recruitment activities with HR and administrative teams to support seamless onboarding.
Assist in organizing recruitment drives, career fairs, and other events to expand the candidate pool.
Qualifications & Skills
Education : B. Sc. or B. A. degree; Diploma in Communication & Social Media preferred.
Experience : Minimum 10 years in recruitment or a related field, with a preference for ex-servicemen in the security or manpower industry.
Skills :
Strong understanding of recruitment strategies, social media channels, and branding techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and social media management tools.
Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple roles and responsibilities simultaneously.
