Job Summary:

The CFO will play a key leadership role in overseeing the company’s financial performance, strategic planning, and risk management. They will be responsible for ensuring the long-term financial health of the organization, providing sound financial advice to the executive team, and managing all financial and accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement the organization's financial strategy in alignment with its long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to drive business growth and profitability.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Monitor financial performance against strategic goals and recommend corrective actions.

Treasury and Risk Management:

  • Manage the organization’s liquidity, investments, and capital structure.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management policies.

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and corporate policies.
  • Work with external auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure transparency.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee accounting, tax, payroll, and financial operations.
  • Implement financial systems and technology to improve operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for investors, financial institutions, and key stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates to the board of directors and shareholders on financial performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in senior financial leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, or capital markets is a plus.
