Job Summary:The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for managing the financial actions of the company, overseeing financial planning, financial risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The CFO also ensures the company's financial health and advises the CEO and executive team on financial strategies to support business growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Strategy:- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy.- Provide strategic financial insights to shape business strategies.- Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to establish long-term financial goals.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis:- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans.- Analyze financial performance against operational targets.- Identify areas for cost optimization and profitability improvement.

3. Financial Reporting:- Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the CEO, board of directors, and external stakeholders.- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory authorities.

4. Risk Management:- Identify, assess, and manage the financial risks of the organization.- Implement robust internal controls to safeguard the company's assets.- Oversee tax planning and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

5. Treasury & Cash Flow Management:- Optimize cash flow, manage liquidity, and ensure sufficient capital is available for growth.- Manage banking relationships and financial instruments.- Oversee investment strategies to maximize returns on excess funds.

6. Capital Management:- Advise on capital raising strategies including debt, equity, and other funding sources.- Lead negotiations on financing arrangements.

7. Team Leadership:- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.- Oversee talent acquisition, development, and succession planning for the finance department.- Promote cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CA preferred).- 10+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership roles.- Proven experience as CFO or in a senior financial leadership position.- Strong knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.- Experience in managing complex financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, and auditing.- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.- Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning.- Experience working with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related matters.
