The role of Practice Director at Everest Group is client-facing and involves advising clients on critical global services decisions. This includes providing in-depth analysis on various global sourcing domains such as location optimization, governance structures, workforce strategy, sourcing models in outsourcing/offshoring, and cost optimization. Responsibilities encompass capability or practice area development, including business development, capability building, team development, and project delivery. Project delivery entails custom research, advisory work for Fortune 1000 clients, publishing research, and addressing client inquiries, among other tasks. This position reports to the Partner (Commercial and Solutions Analytics) at Everest Group Leadership role that includes business development, practice/capability building, people development, project delivery (across custom and publishing) Manage and deliver complex custom research projects, including problem solving, developing recommendations, crafting deliverables and client management Manage a team of analysts to create actionable insights to solve client problems by evaluating and analyzing information collected through interviews, surveys, and detailed quantitative analysis Communicate and interact at the executive level with major providers and recipients of global services, to address their strategic business issues, analyze their offerings, strategy, positioning, and predict the changing dynamics of the market Develop a strong external reputation by networking with clients, service providers and analysts, participating in research meetings and other public forums, and publishing leading edge research-based reports, whitepapers, and articles Supervise team activities and take an active role in the professional development, growth and mentoring of his team members Ensure quality of products and adherence to Everest Group standards Proficient in project management: capable of multitasking, handling pressure, and meeting deadlines. Eager to excel in business. Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook). Long-term goal to contribute to business growth and pursue a career as a business leader. Education and experience A minimum of 6-9 years of experience in a professional services setting (Management Consulting/Business Research) A Bachelor's degree from a well-regarded college; an MBA is preferred (from a Tier-1 Business School) Experience with strategy/management consulting firms, corporate strategy teams within providers, or strategy groups of Global Business Services/Global Capability Centers is advantageous Knowledge and experience in the outsourcing and offshoring industry, along with the ability to comprehend market trends Excellent relationship-building skills A willingness to travel intermittently
