Location:Initial Base:HyderabadOnsite Assignment:Abu Dhabi (after initial period)Role:SME Lead – ROMeo (Process Simulation)Experience:8 – 20 yearsBackground:Chemical EngineeringAbout the Role We are looking for aSubject Matter Expert (SME) Lead – Process Simulation (ROMeo)with strong chemical engineering fundamentals and deep experience in process simulations and hydrocarbon plant operations. The ideal candidate will lead simulation, RTO and APC-related activities and support optimisation of complex process units.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadsteady-state and dynamic simulationsfor hydrocarbon process units using ROMeo or similar toolsDevelop, validate and maintainsimulation modelsfor plant performance and optimisationSupportRTO (Real Time Optimization)andAPC (Advanced Process Control)implementation and integration with plant DCS systemsCollaborate with operations, process and control teams to troubleshoot and improve plant performanceProvide technical guidance, mentoring and training to junior engineersRequired Skills & Experience8–20 yearsof total experience in the process / hydrocarbon industryStrong Chemical Engineering fundamentalsMinimum5+ years of experiencein process engineering, with at least3+ years hands-oninSteady-state and/or dynamic process simulationsRemaining experience inhydrocarbon plant operationswill be considered highly relevantProven experience withcommercial RTO software(preferablyROMeo )Knowledge ofAPC implementationand control fundamentalsExperience inintegrating RTO and APC with DCS systemssuch asYokogawa, Honeywell, ABB , etc.Strongproblem-solving, communication, interpersonal and team-leading skills
