Process Simulation Engineer

Job Title:Process Simulation Engineer Experience Required:4–6 Years (Relevant Experience) Job Location:Pune, MaharashtraAbout the Company: Our client is a reputed and fast-growing engineering consultancy specializing in process design and optimization for the pharmaceutical, chemical, and biotech industries. The company is known for its deep domain expertise in process engineering and a strong focus on innovation, quality, and practical solutions tailored to client needs.Key Responsibilities: Develop and validate process simulations using tools such as Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, Aspen EDR, Aspen Adsorption, and HTRI. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to simulation models and process performance. Conduct adequacy checks and support process optimization for existing plant operations. Apply advanced knowledge of separation technologies including distillation, extraction, evaporation, chemical reactions, adsorption, pervaporation, etc. Perform detailed Heat and Mass Balance (HMB) calculations and hydraulic analysis across various process systems. Execute equipment sizing for unit operations such as distillation columns, heat exchangers, evaporators, separators, and pumps. Collaborate with the engineering and proposal teams to provide accurate and timely technical inputs. Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements. Preferred Skills: Proficiency in AspenTech simulation software and HTRI. Strong grasp of chemical/process engineering fundamentals. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
