Location:- Initial Base: Hyderabad - Onsite Assignment: Abu Dhabi (after initial period)Role: SME Lead – ROMeo (Process Simulation)Experience: 8 – 20 yearsBackground: Chemical EngineeringAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Lead – Process Simulation (ROMeo) with strong chemical engineering fundamentals and deep experience in process simulations and hydrocarbon plant operations. The ideal candidate will lead simulation, RTO and APC-related activities and support optimisation of complex process units.Key Responsibilities- Lead steady-state and dynamic simulations for hydrocarbon process units using ROMeo or similar tools - Develop, validate and maintain simulation models for plant performance and optimisation - Support RTO (Real Time Optimization) and APC (Advanced Process Control) implementation and integration with plant DCS systems - Collaborate with operations, process and control teams to troubleshoot and improve plant performance - Provide technical guidance, mentoring and training to junior engineersRequired Skills & Experience- 8–20 years of total experience in the process / hydrocarbon industry - Strong Chemical Engineering fundamentals - Minimum 5+ years of experience in process engineering, with at least 3+ years hands-on in - Steady-state and/or dynamic process simulations - Remaining experience in hydrocarbon plant operations will be considered highly relevant - Proven experience with commercial RTO software (preferably ROMeo) - Knowledge of APC implementation and control fundamentals - Experience in integrating RTO and APC with DCS systems such as Yokogawa, Honeywell, ABB, etc. - Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal and team-leading skills
