Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive at UPDOT in Bengaluru. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for new business development, lead generation, business communication, and account management on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities:
Inbound Lead Management:
- Respond promptly to inquiries from inbound leads via email, calls, and CRM systems.
- Qualify leads by understanding their requirements and fit with our offerings.
- Maintain a high level of engagement with potential clients through consistent follow-ups.
Client Engagement:
- Present solutions to prospects and conduct product/service demonstrations.
- Address client concerns and tailor proposals to meet their specific needs.
Closing Deals:
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate terms and close deals to achieve sales targets.
Account Growth:
- Develop relationships with new clients to convert them into long-term partners.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize account value.
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Identify and research potential clients in target markets.
- Generate leads through networking, online research, and cold outreach.
Market Research & Strategy:
- Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to identify new opportunities.
- Contribute to business growth strategies and plans.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to align on client needs.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service.
Qualifications
- New Business Development and Lead Generation skills
- Strong business acumen and communication skills
- Experience in account management
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities
- Ability to identify market trends and opportunities
- Previous experience in digital marketing or sales is a plus
