Sales Engineer-Instrumentation

Key Responsibilities: Client Visits and Relationship Building:
Visit potential and existing clients to understand their technical requirements and offer suitable automation and control panel solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, engineers, and procurement teams at client organizations.
Represent Prei Polar Engineering as a trusted advisor, showcasing our products and capabilities.
Technical Sales and Solution Offering:
Provide technical consultation to customers regarding control panels, instrumentation, automation systems, and related solutions.
Present product demos, provide detailed product specifications, and answer any technical queries from clients.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure custom solutions are feasible and aligned with customer requirements.
Quotation and Proposal Preparation:
Prepare accurate and detailed quotations for control panels and automation products based on client specifications.
Ensure proposals include the appropriate technical and commercial details, including pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
Follow up on submitted quotations and proposals to close the sale.
Sales Negotiation and Order Closure:
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to close sales deals successfully.
Handle objections effectively and work with the client to find mutually beneficial solutions.
Secure signed purchase orders from clients, ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are agreed upon.
Market Research and Business Development:
Identify and target new business opportunities in various sectors such as manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, automation, and more.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
Participate in industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to promote Prei Polar Engineering's products and services.
Order Coordination and Follow-Up:
Work closely with the internal team to ensure that orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction post-delivery and identify opportunities for additional sales.
Assist clients with any post-sale technical support needs and maintain long-term relationships for future business.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
Provide regular sales forecasts and updates to management on pipeline progress, upcoming opportunities, and sales performance.
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the company.
Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in field sales, preferably in instrumentation, automation, or related industries.
Strong technical understanding of control panels, automation systems, and instrumentation is essential.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and securing new business in a competitive environment.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
Ability to work independently and manage a field-based sales pipeline effectively.
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to explain complex technical solutions in a simple, client-friendly manner.
Proficient in using CRM systems, MS Office, and other sales tools for tracking and reporting.
Ability to travel frequently for client meetings and site visits (travel requirements may vary based on region).

Working Conditions: Field-Based Role: Frequent travel to visit clients, attend site meetings, and participate in industry events.
Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel locally and regionally (and potentially nationally, depending on client locations).
Working Hours: Standard working hours with flexibility for client meetings, including occasional evenings or weekends as required.
