Salesforce test lead

Position Overview:

This person is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of testing on Salesforce projects, including designing test strategies, creating comprehensive test plans, managing a team of testers, executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring the quality of Salesforce implementations across complex projects while adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing efforts for Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and integrations.

• Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Salesforce applications.

• Design and implement automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define test objectives.

• Conduct end-to-end testing of Salesforce components including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and third-party integrations.

• Ensure best practices in test automation, defect tracking, and reporting processes.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of test engineers.

• Work closely with development teams to implement continuous integration and continuous testing (CI/CT) processes.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce testing, including functional, automation, and performance testing.

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, APIs, and integration testing.

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, or Tosca.

• Proficiency in Salesforce testing frameworks like Apex test classes and SOQL queries.

• Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and test management tools.

• Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

• Salesforce certification(s) such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Certified Advanced Administrator

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

• Ability to train and work one-on-one with others

• Positive attitude and a desire to help

Physical Requirements
