Job Title: Salesforce Technical LeadLocation: RemoteNotice Period: ImmediateJob SummaryA Salesforce Technical Lead (TL) plays a crucial role in managing and delivering Salesforce projects and brings extensive Salesforce knowledge.Years of experience neededOverall, 7-12 years of experience on Salesforce CRM projectsMinimum of 4 years of experience working as Salesforce Technical LeadSkills:Experience with Service & Experience Clouds.Experience with Salesforce Org migration specially Service cloud.Proficiency in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, including custom development, integration, and data modeling.Experience with transforming business requirements/user stories to technical requirements.Experience with building large-scale integration with Salesforce Platform leveraging UI to UI, API based and Data integrations. Extensive experience with LWC, APEX, Lightning, SOQL, SOSL, Salesforce CLI, VS Code and other core Salesforce platform development tools.Strong problem solving and analytical skills.Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelinesProven leadership skills to lead and manage Salesforce development teams, including mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, and fostering a collaborative team culture.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of technical issues, evaluate alternative solutions, and make informed decisions.Proficiency in documenting technical designs, configuration changes, and customizations for future reference.Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect are preferred.Familiarity with Agile Methodology, Test-Driven Development and software design patterns.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including business users, executives, and IT teams.Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent presentation skillsResponsibilities:1. Project Planning and StrategyParticipating in KT and discovery discussionsDefine Scope and Objectives: Work with stakeholders to define the project scope, goals, and deliverables.Develop Project Plan: Create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.2. Stakeholder ManagementClient Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements and expectations are met.Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with various teams, including developers, administrators, and business analysts, to ensure alignment and communication.Manage Expectations: Set and manage expectations with stakeholders regarding project progress, timelines, and deliverables.3. Technical OversightAddressing nonfunctional requirementsDefining technical architectureDesigning technical solutionsDeveloping solution framework and utilities developmentDefining best practicesReviewing the designsAnalyzing impacts of Salesforce releases on applications and takes preventive measuresHelping team to conduct Performance testingDeveloping customized solutions within the Salesforce platformTroubleshootingMonitoring and Maintaining code qualityTechnical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure the project adheres to best practices and Salesforce standards.Problem-Solving: Address and resolve technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.Integration Management: Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other systems and tools as needed.4. Project ExecutionCoordinate Activities: Coordinate the efforts of project team members, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.Monitor Progress: Track project progress against the plan, adjusting as necessary to keep the project on track.Quality Assurance: Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to Salesforce best practices.5. Resource ManagementTeam Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively, including personnel, tools, and budget.Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with third-party vendors or consultants if external expertise is required.6. Reporting and DocumentationStatus Reports: Provide regular updates and status reports to stakeholders, including project progress, risks, and issues.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, designs, and configurations.7. Change ManagementHandle Changes: Manage change requests and ensure they are assessed, documented, and communicated effectively.Adaptation: Adapt project plans and strategies based on changes in scope or new information.8. Training and SupportUser Training: Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for end-users to ensure they are comfortable with the new Salesforce implementation.Support: Provide post-implementation support and address any issues or questions that arise after the project goes live.9. Compliance and GovernanceEnsure Compliance: Ensure that the project adheres to organizational and regulatory compliance standards.Governance: Implement governance practices to ensure the project aligns with organizational policies and Salesforce best practices.10. Staffing & RecruitmentUnderstand the nature of resource requirements from the customer or Account teams.Work with Talent Acquisition team for fulfilment of the positions.Responsible for onboarding the resources on customer systems and environments.In essence, a Salesforce Technical Lead is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of Salesforce projects, from planning and execution to delivery and support, ensuring successful outcomes and stakeholder satisfactionCertifications Needed:Salesforce AdministratorSalesforce Platform Developer 1Salesforce Platform BuilderSalesforce Architect Certifications (good to have)Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect (good to have)
