Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience as an SCM Head or similar role in capital equipment manufacturing, preferably in the pharma sector. Strong understanding of supply chain principles, procurement, and logistics. Excellent negotiation, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions. Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the pharma industry. Proficiency in SCM software and ERP systems.

Job Profile Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SCM Head to lead the supply chain operations for our capital plant and equipment manufacturing division in the pharma sector. The ideal candidate will oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards.
Accountable and Responsible for :
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with company goals.
- Optimize supply chain processes, including procurement, production, logistics, and distribution.
Procurement Management:
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure best terms and conditions.
- Ensure reliable supply of materials and components to meet production schedules.
Inventory Control:
- Implement inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor inventory turnover ratios and reduce excess inventory.
Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Conduct periodic supplier audits and performance assessments.
Logistics and Transportation:
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished products.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with pharma industry standards.
- Collaborate with QA teams to address any supply chain-related quality issues.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes that could impact supply chain operations.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews and develop training programs for team members.
Technology and Systems:
- Utilize advanced SCM software and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in supply chain systems.
