Accountable and Responsible for :

  • Study the Purchase Order (PO) - Cost & Delivery Timeline/s & Technical Documents
  • Prepare a Project Schedule in MS-Projects
  • Review the URS Deviations, if any, by coordinating with all Internal Stakeholders
  • Ensure that the URS Deviations are approved by Customer
  • Finalize the list of Deliverables from Customer and the List of DQ Documents
  • Review the Bill of Material (BOM) & Load in ERP
  • Review Dispatch Plan in ERP
  • Review Indents Generated for the required material as per BOM
  • Ensure Appraisal on the requirement to the Manufacturing Units for QAP and Plan
  • Monitor Allocated Free Stock and Excess ordered material of the Project as per ERP Report.
  • Prepare detailed Planning for Vessels, Bought-outs, Engr Design, Automation (Architecture)
  • Identify Critical Path Items & Prepare Plan for Monitoring Critical Items
  • Co-ordinate Customer special visits and FAT Dates etc.
  • Manage, Incorporate and Ensure Revisions as per changes suggested by Customer
  • Initiate Work on Customer Comment Sheet & Track necessary Amendments
  • Prepare Order Amendments (OA), Make Changes for Additional Requirement & Submit OA to TSS for Order Amendment
  • Monitor arrival of bought-out material from Vendors & Ensure timely availability
  • Priorities & Follow up for Payments for the Bought-outs (as per agreed PO terms)
  • Monitor inter-unit Material Transfers
  • Update OAs for Cost-&-Time along with Reasons and Back-up Data
  • Participate in Design Reviews
  • Monitor DQ Documents and all Transmittals
  • Prepare Detailed Plans for Short Supplies, Pre-FAT, FAT, Packing and Dispatch
  • Ensure Pre-FAT & FAT Compliance
  • Raise Proforma Invoice (PI) & Follow-up for Payment from Customer (as per PO terms)
  • Handover all relevant & necessary Documents / List / Data to Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) Dept.
  • Prepare reconciliation of Inventory and Transfer excess material to Free Stock
  • Initiate and ensure availability of Short Supplies and their Dispatches
  • Close all Work Orders in ERP
  • Prepare the final Project Report to include Variances & Diagnostics for Things Gone Right (TGR) & Things Gone Wrong (TGW
  • Monitor Single Point for Control of Item Master for ERP


Behavioral Skills:

  • Should Manage effectively a Team of 30-35 of his/her own subordinates, as well as help the HOD to enthuse-&-inspire seamless cross-functional activities of supporting Depts.
  • Should have a keen eye for Detail, in the nature of - Engineering, Designing, Quality, Financial and Subordinate's developmental needs.
  • Should be pro-active in Planning for reaching Targets have a never-give-up attitude should unforeseen challenges crop up.
  • Should have excellent Spoken-&-Written Communications skills with emphasis on subject-&-substance and not on ambiguity.


Key Performance Indicators:

  • Achieve the pre-determined & pre-budgeted Bi- / Annual Invoice Target
  • Achieve the pre-determined & pre-budgeted Bi- / Annual Expenditure/Cost figures of each Project delivered
  • Achieve Zero complaints from Customers w.r.t. Quality of Design-&-Workmanship and Delivery Timelines
  • Should have developed, under him/her, a well-knit & cohesive team of talented professionals.
