Job SummaryChandigarh University is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager – Admissions (Inside Sales) with a strong Ed Tech background to lead, mentor, and drive performance of Admission Counsellors and Team Leaders. The role is revenue-focused and responsible for achieving enrollment targets through structured inside sales operations, process optimization, and team leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue & Sales PerformanceOwn and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets through inside sales channelsDrive lead-to-enrollment conversion strategies to maximize admissions and revenueMonitor sales funnels, conversion ratios, and counselor productivityDevelop action plans to improve underperforming metricsTeam Leadership & ManagementManage and mentor a team of Team Leaders and Admission CounsellorsConduct regular performance reviews, one-on-ones, and sales coaching sessionsSet daily/weekly targets and ensure accountability across teamsEnsure effective utilization of CRM systems for lead management and reportingOptimize calling strategies, scripts, and follow-up processesMaintain discipline in call quality, data hygiene, and reportingCoordinate with marketing for lead quality and campaign performanceStrategy & Process ImprovementAnalyze market trends, competitor offerings, and Ed Tech best practicesImplement scalable sales processes and SOPs for admission counselingCollaborate with academic, finance, and operations teams for smooth enrollment closureStakeholder ManagementAct as a bridge between senior management and sales teamsEnsure high student and parent satisfaction during the admission journeyEligibility & QualificationsGraduate/Postgraduate in any discipline5–8 years of experience in Ed Tech / Education Inside Sales , with at least 3 + years in a team leadership roleProven track record of achieving revenue and enrollment targetsStrong exposure to CRM-driven inside sales environmentsKey Skills & CompetenciesRevenue-driven mindset with strong analytical skillsExcellent team handling, coaching, and leadership abilitiesStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, target-driven environmentsProficiency in CRM tools, sales dashboards, and reportingPreferred Candidate ProfilePrior experience with leading Ed Tech brands or universitiesExperience managing large tele-counselling or inside sales teamsData-driven decision-maker with process improvement expertise
