Job Summary

Chandigarh University is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager – Admissions (Inside Sales) with a strong EdTech background to lead, mentor, and drive performance of Admission Counsellors and Team Leaders. The role is revenue-focused and responsible for achieving enrollment targets through structured inside sales operations, process optimization, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Sales Performance

  • Own and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets through inside sales channels
  • Drive lead-to-enrollment conversion strategies to maximize admissions and revenue
  • Monitor sales funnels, conversion ratios, and counselor productivity
  • Develop action plans to improve underperforming metrics

Team Leadership & Management

  • Manage and mentor a team of Team Leaders and Admission Counsellors
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, one-on-ones, and sales coaching sessions
  • Set daily/weekly targets and ensure accountability across teams
  • Ensure effective utilization of CRM systems for lead management and reporting
  • Optimize calling strategies, scripts, and follow-up processes
  • Maintain discipline in call quality, data hygiene, and reporting
  • Coordinate with marketing for lead quality and campaign performance

Strategy & Process Improvement

  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and EdTech best practices
  • Implement scalable sales processes and SOPs for admission counseling
  • Collaborate with academic, finance, and operations teams for smooth enrollment closure

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a bridge between senior management and sales teams
  • Ensure high student and parent satisfaction during the admission journey

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline
  • 5–8 years of experience in EdTech / Education Inside Sales, with at least 3+ years in a team leadership role
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue and enrollment targets
  • Strong exposure to CRM-driven inside sales environments
