One of our reputed group of client who are into Shipping Liner is looking for a Deputy Finance Manager in Kenya. The position is in Mombasa and reporting to finance manager in China


supports the Finance Manager/Director by overseeing daily financial operations, preparing reports, managing budgets, ensuring compliance, analyzing performance, and assisting with financial strategy, acting as a key link between finance and other departments to drive efficiency and financial health


Key Responsibilities

Preparing accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) and management reports.

Analyzing financial data, identifying trends, variances, and providing recommendations for cost savings or process improvement.

Assisting with budget preparation, monitoring performance against budgets, and forecasting.

Ensuring adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulations; assisting with audits.

Managing the finance team, setting objectives, and optimizing department processes.

Contributing to financial strategy, risk management, and decision-making for senior management.


Qualifications

The candidate must be minimum M.Com with minimum 5 years experience in shipping liner business

Prefer a candidate with previous experience in any African country

Candidate available in India or any any location is also preferred, Initial interview will be on ZOOM.
