Key Responsibilities:
Lead Service Delivery : Oversee end-to-end Finance & Accounting (RTR) service delivery across multiple businesses, ensuring a high standard of quality and performance.
Team Leadership & Development : Manage large teams, mentor accounting supervisors, and coach front-line managers to build a service-oriented, high-performance culture.
Financial Reporting & Compliance : Supervise the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Talent Management : Retain key talent, identify gaps, and onboard top talent to strengthen team capabilities.
Strategic Advisor : Serve as a trusted advisor to business and finance controllers, identifying risk exposures and devising mitigation strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner with Financial Product, Technology, and Internal Financial Control teams to foster collaboration and alignment.
Process Innovation : Promote disruptive and transformative thinking by staying informed about industry changes in technology and process innovations.
Senior Leadership Development : Mentor senior team members, encouraging knowledge-sharing and a collaborative problem-solving approach.
System Alignment : Work closely with Product, Data & Analytics, and enabling functions to ensure technology and process roadmaps are aligned with organizational goals.
Efficiency & Improvement : Drive continuous improvement in all operations, seeking new and innovative solutions to optimize processes.
Principle-Based Management : Act as a Principle-Based Management (PBM) leader, embedding core principles into everyday practices.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):
Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting, CA or CPA designation required.
Experience : 15+ years in Finance & Accounting roles with increasing responsibility; 10+ years of experience managing large, global teams.
Transformation Expertise : Proven experience in leading transformation projects within finance and accounting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Finance & Business Acumen : Strong finance, accounting, and cross-functional business knowledge.
Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking : Ability to perform deep analysis, identify root causes, and develop solutions that impact multiple divisions and functions.
Global Leadership Experience : Demonstrated leadership experience in a global company.
Interpersonal Skills : Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills for effective collaboration across the organization.
Organizational Skills : Strong organizational capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Requirement in brief:
Looking for a senior Fin Leader managing a span of 75-100 people
Partnered with local and global C-suite leaders; Should be able to build authentic relationships
Heavy on people development (Nurture and develop leaders in their span) and finance knowledge (should understand the market well, bring in expertise, have vision for the org)
17-23 years’ experience will be great
Should be able to articulate exceptionally - people strategy, talent strategy, knowledgeable on multiple domains of Finance industry.
