We are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Fundraising to lead our capital-raising initiatives. Role Overview
The Director of Fundraising will be at the forefront of our fundraising efforts, responsible for securing funding, building strategic partnerships, and driving investor relations. Reporting directly to the Founders, this role will play a critical part in scaling Car Xstream.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute a robust fundraising strategy for seed and Series A rounds within defined timelines.
- Build relationships with angel investors, venture capitalists, and strategic partners.
- Lead due diligence processes and ensure smooth execution.
- Negotiate and structure investment terms effectively.
Investor Relations:
- Establish a strong communication protocol with investors to maintain trust and transparency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for existing and potential investors.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Secure strategic partnerships in the first year post-funding.
- Drive partnership-driven revenue or value aligned with organizational goals.
- Create scalable frameworks for evaluating and managing partnerships.
Market Insights:
- Continuously monitor the fundraising landscape to identify opportunities for strategic growth.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
- 6+ years in startup fundraising, venture capital, or investment banking.
- MBA or equivalent degree, preferably from IIM, with a strong understanding of finance, business strategy, and investor relations.
- Proven track record of closing successful fundraising deals and partnerships.
Skills:
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong financial modeling and business planning expertise.
- Extensive network within the investment and strategic partnership ecosystems.
Mindset:
- Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and proactive approach to challenges.
- A passion for innovation and transforming industries.
Compensation Structure
- Initial Phase (Contract):** ₹2,00,000 - ₹5,00,000/month.
- Performance-based bonuses tied to fundraising and partnership milestones.
