Job Description
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Executive Assistant to the Director. In this role, you will work closely with the director to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Director's calendar, scheduling meetings, and appointments as needed.
- Support the director in various tasks, such as preparing presentations, conducting research, and managing administrative tasks. This may involve gathering and analyzing data, creating charts and graphs, and summarizing information in a clear and concise manner.
- Communicate with team members on behalf of the director, providing updates on project status and deadlines, and following up on action items. This also includes coordinating with other departments and ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Provide administrative support on various projects and initiatives.
- Make travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodation, and transportation.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communication on behalf of the executive director and senior manager.
- Build relationships with other departments and key employees in the organisation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the director and senior manager.
- Maintain the discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business
- 6+ years of experience in an executive assistant role reporting directly to senior management.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
