Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Delegate Acquisition Manager to drive delegate registrations for our conferences, summits, and events. This role focuses on identifying potential participants, effectively communicating event value propositions, and ensuring a strong attendance base. The ideal candidate has exceptional communication skills, a sales-oriented mindset, and experience in audience acquisition for B2B or B2C events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delegate Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to attract delegates for events, ensuring registration targets are met or exceeded.
- Prospecting: Identify and qualify potential delegates through research, database mining, and outreach efforts.
- Outreach & Communication: Engage with potential delegates via calls, emails, and social media to convey the event's value and benefits.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of potential attendees and track their progress through the registration process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and content teams to align messaging and outreach efforts.
- Database Management: Keep accurate and updated records of delegate interactions and registrations in the CRM system.
- Feedback Gathering: Collect insights from prospective delegates to refine event offerings and improve acquisition strategies.
- Performance Reporting: Regularly report on delegate acquisition metrics, including conversion rates and pipeline health.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in delegate acquisition, inside sales, or a similar role (2-3 years preferred).
- Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand and articulate event themes and value propositions effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and database management.
- Target-oriented with a track record of achieving sales or acquisition goals.
- Knowledge of the events industry and audience segmentation is a plus.
Location: Chennai
Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite
Salary Range: 8-10 LPA (based on candidate's profile)
