Job Title: Operations Executive Location: Operations Reports To: Operations Manager   Fresh Platter is a fast-growing agritech company revolutionizing India’s fresh-produce supply chain. We specialize in bananas and other fruits, combining technology, automation, and disciplined operations to ensure premium quality and consistency from farm to market. Our mission is to minimize post-harvest losses and position Indian produce among the world’s best.   The Junior Operations Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day floor operations at the ripening and dispatch facility during assigned shifts (day or night). The role demands strong on-ground supervision, familiarity with the banana ripening process, and hands-on coordination with labor, logistics, and quality teams. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and the other shift lead to ensure seamless 24×7 operations, maintaining Fresh Platter’s standards for efficiency, safety, and product quality. Ripening Operations Oversee material movement during your shift — incoming fruits, ripened stock, crates, and dispatch-ready lots. Ensure proper segregation of lots, FIFO compliance, and accurate bin/crate tagging using Trace360 or similar systems. Supervise loading and unloading activities; ensure efficient labor deployment and adherence to safety standards. Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and hygiene across the floor and ripening zones. Quality & Process Control Inspect fruit quality at key stages — before ripening, post-ripening, and before dispatch. Flag any deviation in color, temperature, or ripening outcome to the Operations Manager immediately. Coordinate with the Quality and Procurement teams for issue resolution and batch traceability. Submit shift-wise reports on ripening status, stock movement, crate counts, and any process deviations. Coordinate handovers between day and night shifts to ensure zero operational disruption. Work closely with Ayaz and Abhishek to maintain consistency across shifts and follow management instructions precisely. Compliance & Safety Follow all hygiene, safety, and operational protocols during handling and storage. Ensure ripening chambers are operated as per Fresh Platter standards and legal norms. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Food Technology, or Operations preferred ~2–4 years of experience in fruit ripening or cold chain operations (preferably banana or other climacteric fruits) ~ Working knowledge of ethylene dosing systems, chamber controls, and fruit handling ~ Computer proficiency (Mainly Excel) ~ Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts Compensation ~ Competitive salary with performance-based incentives
