Job Purpose:
To ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting overall business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain principles and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Management: Coordinate and oversee all aspects of logistics operations, including sea and air freight.
Conduct cost analysis of logistics operations to identify areas for improvement.
Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping documents and regulations.
Expense Management: Track and record all logistics-related expenses accurately in SAP.
Prepare and reconcile expense reports.
Manage and track provisions, ensuring timely reconciliation.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with SAP data.
Coordinate with the plant team for timely production entries and cost validation.
Financial Transactions: Process purchase orders, goods receipts, and payments related to logistics operations.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry in SAP.
Process Improvement: Analyze current logistics processes and identify areas for improvement.
Propose and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Participate in Kaizen initiatives to streamline operations.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong understanding of logistics principles and operations (sea/air freight)
Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of logistics and financial processes.
