Job Purpose:

To ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting overall business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain principles and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Management:Coordinate and oversee all aspects of logistics operations, including sea and air freight.
  • Conduct cost analysis of logistics operations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping documents and regulations.
  • Expense Management:Track and record all logistics-related expenses accurately in SAP.
  • Prepare and reconcile expense reports.
  • Manage and track provisions, ensuring timely reconciliation.
  • Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with SAP data.
  • Coordinate with the plant team for timely production entries and cost validation.
  • Financial Transactions:Process purchase orders, goods receipts, and payments related to logistics operations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry in SAP.
  • Process Improvement:Analyze current logistics processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Propose and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Participate in Kaizen initiatives to streamline operations.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of logistics principles and operations (sea/air freight)
  • Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
