As a Technical Recruitment Consultant at Mergen Partners, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, screening, and hiring top-tier technical talent for our clients across various industries, with an emphasis on technology and IT roles.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Recruitment Process Management:
Lead and manage the full recruitment life cycle from sourcing candidates to offer negotiation and onboarding.
Work closely with hiring managers and clients to understand technical requirements and culture fit for each role.
Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract top technical talent, including passive candidates and niche skill sets.
Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
Use multiple platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, and social media channels to source potential candidates.
Conduct thorough screening interviews to evaluate technical skills, soft skills, and cultural fit.
Shortlist qualified candidates and present them to clients with detailed candidate profiles and insights.
Job Description Writing and Market Research:
Collaborate with hiring managers and clients to create comprehensive, accurate, and compelling job descriptions.
Stay updated on current market trends, competitive salary benchmarking, and emerging technologies to effectively match candidates with client needs.
Client and Candidate Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with both clients and candidates.
Provide guidance and support to candidates through every stage of the hiring process, ensuring a positive experience.
Regularly follow up with clients and candidates to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
Interview Coordination and Candidate Management:
Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and clients, ensuring a smooth and timely process.
Gather feedback from both candidates and clients post-interviews to improve future recruitment efforts.
Offer Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate offers and ensure alignment with both candidate expectations and client requirements.
Handle candidate counteroffers and ensure a successful closure to the recruitment process.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate tracking in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Provide regular updates and recruitment reports to management, highlighting key metrics and progress.
Employer Branding and Marketing:
Work on creating and promoting Mergen Partners' employer brand to attract top talent.
Leverage content marketing, social media, and networking to raise awareness about job opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 4+ years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably in IT or software development sectors.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of key technical roles (e.g., software engineers, developers, data scientists) and programming languages, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.
Recruitment Tools: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate management tools.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present information concisely and persuasively.
Relationship Building: Ability to build and nurture relationships with candidates, clients, and team members.
Problem Solving: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
