Position Overview:
As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bidding process for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and new tender submissions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and leading negotiations to secure contracts. You will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business through successful bid submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality bids for RFPs and tenders in the IT industry.
Analyze client requirements and develop compelling proposals that highlight our solutions and value proposition.
Collaborate with technical, legal, and financial teams to gather necessary information and ensure accurate bid responses.
Manage the negotiation process with clients, addressing any concerns and aligning on project scope and deliverables.
Maintain a comprehensive database of RFPs and tender submissions, tracking deadlines and follow-ups.
Develop and implement best practices for bid management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform bidding strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
Over 4 years of proven experience in bid management or proposal writing in the IT industry.
Strong understanding of the tendering process and negotiation techniques.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management software.
