The incumbent will be responsible to make investments and borrowings, manage liquidity within internal guidelines, risk parameters, statutory guidelines of RBI with the objective to optimize cash flows and maximize returns on the available funds and temporary cash surpluses.

Skills Required

  • Thorough knowledge of Fixed Income, Money market and domestic treasury products
  • Experience working with CCIL and RBI platforms NDS OM, NDS Call, Treps
  • Ability to work within fixed and short timeframes, especially for dealing and settlement.
  • Risk focused mindset with adherence to internal and RBI mandated guidelines
  • Strong Analytical and excel Skills
  • Ability to coordinate well with various internal and external stakeholders

Key Deliverables

  • Manage investments in GSec/T Bills, NDS Call, Treps and other products as permitted for Payments Banks with the objective to maximize returns and maintain adequate liquidity.
  • Ensure compliance with CRR and SLR requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day liquidity flows. Efficiently manage the deficits / surpluses arising from daily fund flows. Estimate short term and medium term funding requirements and plan resources accordingly.
  • Manage relationships with external Banks for investments and other Business requirements
  • Manage relationship with other departments viz Back Office, Middle Office, Finance, Risk etc.
  • Liaising with Back office, Middle Office, Finance for various RBI/other regulations, external and internal audit requirements.
  • Design key treasury policies and processes
  • Lead any new Treasury projects and represent Treasury Front Office
  • Issuance of Bank Guarantees from external banks for Business tenders.

Educational Qualifications

  • MBA or CA ,Post Graduate in Finance/ Commerce.
  • 6-12 years of experience in Banking/Financial Industry with exposure to Treasury Dealing/ Front office.
  • Strong Knowledge of Treasury management products.
