We are seeking out a GCP Architect and GCP specialists in locations like Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai.
The ask:
- Both Architect and specialist should be proficient in designing & configuring GCP services.
- Both Architect and specialist should be expert at determining the usage of GCP services.
- Both Architect and specialist should have extensive Application Development experience i.e. experience in programming and developing applications.
- Both Architect and specialist primary skill has to be app programming & development (any programming skill is fine) and can have Devops or Data as secondary skills but not the other way around.
- And ideal profile will show the progression from developer to architect or similar career path with GCP expertise being showcased more and more recent projects.
Job description:
Experience requirements: 12 - 15 years of experience in leading Product development, Consulting, Solutioning and Architecture
Must Haves
- Strong experience building cloud-native microservices-based web applications that are scalable, available, and highly performant.
- Strong architecture experience with the following: Microservices architectures, Cloud-Native architectures, Event-driven architectures, APIs, Domain Driven Design, Serverless, Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps etc.
- Strong experience in building secure, scalable, reliable, available solutions and performant enterprise applications.
- Experience in development and delivery of solutions including demonstrations
- Rich experience with GCP technology.
- Demonstrated experience in Legacy transformation and IT modernization
- Hands on experience with Spring boot, Spring webflux, java, containers, sql db, nosql db, caching engine, APM
- Experience in using Domain Driven Design.
- Experience in creating products with scaling and high-performance products and Platform architecture (PaaS, SaaS).
- Experience in Structured(MS SQL, Oracle, Postgres etc) and unstructured (Mongo, Dynamo etc) databases
Good to haves
- Certified in Google cloud platforms at Architect level
- Hands on experience with at least one (preferably two) API gateway platform (Mulesoft, APigee, WSO2, AWS API gateway, Kong, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in cloud migration
Consulting and Solutions
- Consulting experience in Value Based Solution Designing and Presentation to customers
- Experience in representing the Solution/s to customers/prospects/front ending teams and at field events such as conferences, seminars, Aspect User Groups etc.
- Demonstrated Experience in developing industry-based solutions or IP's
- Demonstrated Consulting experience in IT modernization and cloud migration
- Able to lead, create, respond, and defend functional/ technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Ability to communicate complex information to customers/prospects.
- Demonstratable ability to use professional concepts in developing approaches in the solution of critical problems and broad design issues.
- Demonstrated capability to work on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables.
- Ability to provide solutions that are highly creative and to exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Soft skills
- Must have good analytical, debugging ad tracing skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service, teamwork skills and a professional demeanour to maintain and enhance relationships.
Preferred
- Preferred certified in TOGAF or any EA framework
- Domain understanding in either of BFSI, Telecom, ISV and CPG would be a plus
- Experience in Agile Testing, TDD, BDD, Cucumber and Mocking Frameworks
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift etc)
- Experience in DevSecOps (CI/CD) solutions for on prem and cloud.
- Exposure to secure coding is beneficial.
- Experience with Agile/Lean practices is preferred. Sound knowledge of Software Engineering processes.
