Title: National sales Manager

Reporting into:

Direct: Cluster or Regional Sales Director or CCO

Direct: Country GM or Cluster MD

Department: Commercial Team

Location: Office

Direct reports: BDMs, CMs, & Marketing. Inside Sales & Agents (as applicable)

Interfacing with: Sales and marketing in other countries, regions, clusters, Moving, IMMS, DSP, AM, EM, Group Commercial team

As a senior Sales leader, you are responsible for supporting and executing Santa Fe’s commercial strategy within your country/cluster. This position focuses on driving new business revenue, account retention, profitability and growth as well as the local marketing strategy.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

Lead by example:

Responsible for a personal Sales Target as well as the country/cluster targets and that those are achieved at the right levels of pricing/margin.

Responsible for country/cluster Corporate sales revenues and Agent/Inside Sales revenue as applicable.

Lead from the front and motivate the team by acting as a role model in demonstrating SF Leadership capabilities and behaviors, and by achieving your personal sales target.

Reinforce the Santa Fe sales methodology and ethos.

Manage and support tenders in line with Santa Fe’s Proposal processes.

Work with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, Operations, Finance and the Leadership team to develop smart and profitable pricing strategies.

Work with your SD colleagues across the group to collaborate on opportunities and/or to exploit white space and retention opportunities

Work closely with regional and local marketing teams to ensure brand promotion and consistent messaging.

Work closely with the Group Commercial team and CCO.

Act as an ambassador for Santa Fe at events and industry forums (e.g. engage in public speaking events, presentations, etc.)

Take responsibility for continually developing own skills (e.g. selling, coaching) and knowledge (e.g. product, systems) to meet personal and business objectives.

Develop and implement account specific strategies to maximize revenue potential.

Manage your Team:

Ensure the country/cluster achieves the set pipeline, sales, revenue and retention targets.

Coach, mentor and develop your team to maximise individual and team potential and ensure effective succession planning.

This includes scheduling regular (weekly or bi-monthly) one-to-one with each one of your team members to review progress against targets and develop account specific strategies and maximize revenue potential.

Analyse and measure individual/team performance against Key Performance Indicators, such as sales performance, white space and retention targets, and take action as required to ensure the achievement of targets.

Set a programme of monthly telephone and field/virtual training accompaniments is in place with each team member to develop and improve sales skills and behaviours.

Assist the team in RFP preparation and presentations delivery.

Manage your Reporting:

Ensure all Commercial data is accurate and available in Salesforce.

Know your numbers and on-going performance against targets.

Produce accurate and timely reporting of performance against targets.

Track activity and reporting via Santa Fe’s Salesforce and monitor the performance for all your team.

Oversee the country/cluster pipeline, validate opportunities and support with conversion of opportunities.

Skills and capabilities:

The ideal candidate will be a proven, service oriented driven leader, preferably in a relocation services industry.

Strong sales management background

Strong presentation and written skills

Strong interpersonal, analytical, and financial skills

Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (HR, Procurement, Finance, Rewards, Talent…)

Track record of meeting and exceeding goals

Experience working with consulting firms would be a plus

Experience in selling complex supply chain solutions would be a plus

A minimum of 5 years sales management experience

Background of selling in a b2b environment
