Responsibilities of Product Manager
Define and manage product roadmaps to realize business goals and strategies.
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure our products meet market needs and exceed customer expectations.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends.
Analyze competitive landscape and market trends to inform product strategies.
Define and analyze metrics to inform the success of products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of product development are aligned.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers, stakeholders, and their challenges.
Prioritize product opportunities and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and business priorities.
Foster a culture of innovation and customer focus.
The ideal candidate should have a strong customer focus, with the ability to understand and anticipate customer needs. They should also have strong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. Collaboration and attention to detail are also key, as the role involves working closely with various teams and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Creativity is also important, as the role involves developing innovative solutions to meet customer needs and market trends.
Functional Competencies
SaaS: The candidate should have a deep understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) products. This includes knowledge of how these products are developed, deployed, and maintained. They should also understand the unique challenges and opportunities associated with SaaS products, such as subscription pricing models and cloud hosting.
Product Management: The candidate should have experience in managing a product's lifecycle from conception to launch. This includes market research, product development, and marketing strategies. They should also be able to work with crossfunctional teams to ensure the product meets the company's goals and customer needs.
Fintech: The candidate should have knowledge of financial technology and its applications. This includes understanding of how technology is used to improve and automate the delivery and use of financial services.
