Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Operations Specialist to manage the legal, financial, and administrative setup of our growing company. The ideal candidate will have expertise in accounting, tax filing, and legal compliance, along with the ability to handle key operational tasks such as opening business bank accounts and filing patents. This is a critical role that ensures the smooth and compliant operation of our company.
Key Responsibilities
1. Company Setup & Compliance:
• Handle the complete process of company registration, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Open and manage the company’s bank accounts.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all business operations.
2. Accounting & Financial Management:
• Maintain and oversee the company’s financial records.
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes.
3. Legal & Taxation:
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and tax-related obligations.
• Handle intellectual property registrations, including filing for patents and trademarks.
• Coordinate with legal advisors and government agencies to resolve compliance issues.
4. Business Administration:
• Develop and manage processes for payroll, vendor payments, and invoicing.
• Liaise with external auditors and accountants to ensure timely audits and tax filings.
• Monitor and ensure timely renewal of licenses, contracts, and legal documents.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or Law. CA/CS or MBA in Finance is a strong advantage.
• Experience: 3–6 years of experience in accounting, legal compliance, or business operations.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting tools such as Tally, Quick Books, or Zoho Books.
• Strong knowledge of Indian business laws, taxation, and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with company registration and intellectual property processes is a must.
