Manager - Data Services
Role Overview : The manager will work closely with DGM Data warehouse for implementation of various projects in Data Services Support. He/she will be working closely with business and other technology team to understand the requirement and execution
Key Responsibilities
: Manage and mentor a team of Data Engineering and BI professionals while driving the strategy behind the data warehous
e. Responsible for the full data engineering lifecycle including exploration, POC, Architecture, Design, Development, Test, Deployment and Maintenance of enterprise dat
a. Establish close working relationships with other technology teams and business user
s. Implement solutions and standards for data ingestion, Transformation and storag
e. Design and implement multi-dimensional models, including the construction of Data marts, Dimensions, and Cubes while adhering to enforced development methodologie
s. Design and implement the data loading (ETL) and publishing processes within the DW/BI environmen
t. Design and implement reporting applications including (but not limited to) BI dashboards, reporting cubes and static repor
t. Design and implement required interfaces for the data warehouse including BI tools and other applications used by the busines
s. Develop, implement and maintain test strategies and plan
s. Promote a cohesive & high-performance work environment by continuously engaging with the team members, providing development feedback and right training input
s. Review the performance of the team members on a regular basis and help them to improve the productivit
y. Monitor, facilitate and ensure the team adheres to the process
es Guide / mentor and train the team members in building their capabilities and improving their performanc
e. Actively participate / contribute in continuous improvement projec
