Technical Project Manager:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in managing data-related projects, including Data Engineering and Data Analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing data solutions and have a proven track record in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and exceptional team management skills to drive the successful execution of data projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and oversee end-to-end project management for data-related initiatives, including Data Engineering and Data Analytics projects.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

· Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.

· Implement Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, to ensure efficient project execution.

· Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives to keep the team aligned and on track.

· Architect scalable and efficient data solutions using Python and PySpark.

· Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure to build and maintain data infrastructure.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data strategies and deliver solutions.

· Proficiency in AWS Glue or Azure ADF for ETL processes.

· Previous experience with ETL tools like Talend or Informatica is preferred.

· Provide regular project status updates and reports to senior management.

· Mentor and coach team members, promoting their growth and development.

· Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and data best practices.

· Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Proven experience in managing data-related projects, including Data Engineering and Data Analytics.

· Strong knowledge and practical experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

· Exceptional team management and leadership skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

· Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) is a plus.

· Familiarity with data management concepts, technologies, and best practices is preferred.

· Minimum of 8-9 years of experience in data engineering.

· Expertise in Python, PySpark, AWS/Azure, Databricks/Snowflake, and SQL.

· Strong data modelling skills and deep understanding of data warehousing.
