Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team at Wavicle Data Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure environments.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with our development, operations, and security teams to provision, operate, and manage AWS cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, operate, and scale AWS environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Design and implement automated monitoring, deployment, and repair strategies using Ops tools and monitoring platforms.
  • Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.
  • Assist with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, mentoring teams to improve their processes.
  • Evaluate third-party software tools and libraries for enterprise needs, considering risk management.
  • Diagnose, isolate, and debug application problems, performing problem resolution.
  • Monitor systems capacity and performance, allowing for scaling of high-performance applications as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant technical or business experience, with 3+ years of managing complex systems using software.
  • Strong experience with AWS integration, including file and messaging using dockers, Kubernetes, Terraform, GIT, etc.
  • General familiarity with networking, security, and automated deployments.
  • Expertise in Application Server and Web Server architecture in a large enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of high-availability, load-balancing, and failover configurations across application, infrastructure, and platform components.
  • Understanding of security design for enterprise software systems.
  • Experience in common scripting languages (shell, Python, Perl, Groovy, etc.).
  • Proven ability to write clear and concise technical documents, including design documents, specifications, and technology roadmaps.
  • Recent experience with GIT pipeline coding.
  • Capable of stitching together Terraform, AWS CLI commands, and BASH scripting to run on an EC2.
  • Ability to write and develop Terraform modules for different infrastructure setup, installation, and configuration.
  • Recent experience with AWS CLI, including S3, EC2, ELB, SFTP, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Lambda, Redshift, Kafka, etc.
  • Integration experience with microservices.
  • Preference for proven ability to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure environments.
  • 5+ years Unix/Linux administration experience.
  • Requires strong experience with Terraform, GIT, AWS CLI, BASH.
  • Proven depth of knowledge and experience with Python scripting language.
  • Experience with a variety of other programming languages, such as JSON, YAML, Boto3, etc.
  • AWS Certification and/or experience utilizing AWS services in a production environment is preferred.
