Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Proposals Manager with 5-10 years of experience in managing proposals for US Federal, State, and Local Government contracts. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of government procurement processes, strong project management skills, and a proven track record in delivering winning proposals. This role is based in Hyderabad and requires full-time office attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the proposal development process for US Federal, State, and Local Government contracts, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements.
Collaborate with business development, technical teams, and subject matter experts to develop strategies, content, and competitive pricing structures for proposals.
Review RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and other government solicitations to develop comprehensive proposal plans.
Draft, edit, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of proposals, tailoring content to meet government standards and agency-specific requirements.
Manage timelines, resources, and proposal schedules to ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposals.
Conduct compliance checks and quality reviews, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and guidelines.
Identify and address risks and challenges in proposal development, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to mitigate issues.
Maintain a database of past proposals, templates, and reusable content to streamline proposal development.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in proposal management, specifically for US Federal, State, or Local Government projects.
Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, FAR/DFAR regulations, and compliance requirements.
Exceptional project management skills with a high attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and proposal management software/tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
APMP certification or equivalent in proposal management.
Familiarity with government portals and procurement systems.
Experience with CRM and proposal tracking tools.
