Primary Role To identify new business opportunities, build and nurture client relationships, and strategically expand Space Palette’s market presence across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors. The candidate will be responsible for driving growth through lead generation, proposal management, strategic planning, and effective client engagement - ensuring sustained business performance and brand visibility. Key Responsibilities : Lead Generation & Market Research Identify potential clients, upcoming projects, and target market sectors. Conduct in-depth market research to track industry trends, competitor positioning, and emerging opportunities. Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new market verticals and strengthen business outreach. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, consultants, and industry stakeholders. Follow up on leads, schedule client meetings, and represent Space Palette with professionalism and integrity. Serve as the primary point of contact for new and prospective clients. Proposal & Bid Development Prepare tailored proposals, RFP responses, capability presentations, and supporting marketing materials. Collaborate with architects and design teams to ensure alignment between client needs and firm deliverables. Negotiate terms, finalize contracts, and close deals in coordination with management. Strategic Planning Contribute to the formulation and execution of the firm’s business development strategy and annual revenue goals. Recommend service enhancements or new offerings based on market demand and client feedback. Identify partnership or collaboration opportunities to enhance brand presence and reach. Marketing & Branding Work with the marketing team to boost brand visibility across digital and offline platforms — including social media, website, and industry publications. Represent the firm at industry events, exhibitions, and networking sessions to promote Space Palette’s portfolio. Support award nominations, project showcases, and public relations initiatives. Internal Coordination Collaborate with design, project management, and leadership teams to ensure seamless transition from lead acquisition to project delivery. Provide insights on client expectations to help tailor design and execution strategies. Maintain CRM records and regularly track the status of all leads and opportunities. Performance Monitoring & Reporting Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance metrics. Provide regular progress reports and conversion analytics to the leadership team. Evaluate ROI on marketing and business development activities to optimize future strategies. Qualifications Minimum 5 - 15 years of experience in business development within the architecture, interior design, or construction industry. Proven track record in client acquisition, proposal development, and deal closure. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong understanding of market dynamics in residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
