Job Title: Senior Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Assistant Manager / Sr. Sales Executive – Pharma Filtration
Location: Ahmedabad/Hyderabad/Bangalore (Gujarat & AP/Telangana) (with travel across South & West India; open to international travel)
Mode of work could be Hybrid
Experience: 3 to 10 years
Industry Preference: Pharmaceutical (API/Formulation), Biotech, Life Sciences – Sterile Function, Pharma Process Engineering Solutions
Budget for the role: 5 – 15 LPA (Sales Incentive + Mediclaim)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a high-performing Sales Leader/Manager with strong experience in technical sales of filtration systems or critical process equipment to pharmaceutical API/formulation and biotech plants. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning both the technical and commercial cycle—from initial pitch to closure to validation support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive B2B/OEM sales of validated filtration products (depth filters, membrane cartridges, process housings).
• Manage and grow key pharma/biotech accounts by offering consultative, solution-driven filtration systems.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities across API, formulation, sterile injectables, and biotech segments.
• Engage with decision-makers including Plant Heads, QA/Validation Teams, Utility Heads, and Engineering Managers.
• Lead technical discussions involving DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ, filter integrity testing, and documentation support.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, ensure timely follow-ups, and contribute to revenue growth.
• Collaborate with internal product and application teams to tailor customer-centric solutions.
• Participate in technical presentations, trade shows, plant audits, and industry events.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
• 3–8 years of sales or BD experience in filtration, CIP/WFI utility systems, or sterile process solutions.
• Proven ability to close deals with pharma clients—beyond just pitching.
• Strong knowledge of process filtration, including membrane, depth, sterile, and utility filtration.
• Comfortable navigating validation protocols (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ), documentation cycles, and cleanroom compliance.
• Excellent client-facing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently (domestic and occasional international).
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or pharma is preferred.
