Role Overview:
You will play a pivotal role in managing patent searching and analytics initiatives for esteemed technology companies and industry experts across diverse sectors. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients worldwide by delivering high quality competitive intelligence, innovation roadmaps, and strategic services.
Job description:
Manage a team of 6-7 individuals in providing search and analytics support to companies and IP counsel
Ensure smooth planning and execution of simultaneous multiple project deliveries
Must have had an experience of delivering client ready reports across patentability/ invalidity searches, FTOs, landscapes, etc.
Carry out critical individual assignments as well as work as a project manager with teams, i.e., review team’s work and ensure quality and timelines
Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team, providing mentorship and support to elevate team members' skills and expertise
Set team goals and objectives that are aligned with the organization's goals
Ensure that team members are collaborating and communicating effectively
Manage email correspondence and actively participate in client calls to facilitate effective communication and alignment between stakeholders
Develop different search strategies based on the business needs of clients
Desired Skillset:
Hands-on experience across different patent and non-patent databases
Ability to frame patentability opinions
Ability to quickly understand and grasp complex/ cutting-edge technologies within Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication (an absolute must)
Desire to deliver the best work product within set timelines
Ability to think independently and in a team to understand problems & suggest solutions
Education/Professional Qualification and Work Experience:
Bachelors/ Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, or Computer Science
IP Experience: 4-6 years
